The 1860 Club and The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada cordially invite you to the 2nd Annual Gala Dinner at Casa Loma, in commemoration of the 79th anniversary of D-Day.
The D-Day Dinner will serve as the official launch of the D+80 Fundraising Campaign, which aims to send 65 Riflemen to Normandy for the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. The Regiment was in the first wave of assault troops on Juno Beach, Normandy, in 1944, and suffered the highest casualties among the Canadian regiments with 143 casualties—including 61 killed in action.
Casa Loma was built by our 8th Commanding Officer, Major-General Sir Henry Pellatt, and is home to the Regiment’s Museum and Archives. This exclusive event will commence with a cocktail reception, followed by a gourmet dinner in the Library, curated by the Liberty Group. The evening will feature performances throughout from the Regimental Band.

Dinner Ticket—$150
Available until May 20th, 2023.
Dinner Ticket (with $100 donation to D+80 Campaign)—$250
Includes dinner ticket and $100 donation towards the 80th anniversary of D-Day trip. Donors will receive recognition in the dinner program, and a donation receipt in the amount of $100.
Gold Sponsorship—$2500
Includes a Table of 10 and a $1000 donation towards the 80th anniversary of D-Day trip. Donors will receive recognition in the dinner program, and a donation receipt in the amount of $1000.
Platinum Sponsorship—$5000
In addition to the above, donors will sponsor a Rifleman for the 80th anniversary trip to Normandy, and receive a Coin of Remembrance and a donation receipt in the amount of $3500. At your request, a member of the Regiment will be seated at your table to discuss the significance of D-Day.
Event Sponsorship—$10000
Includes all of the above, as well as special recognition as the event sponsor of the D-Day Dinner. Donors will also receive a full-page advertisement in the dinner program, as well as the opportunity to attend the Mess Dinner on Juno Beach.
